How do you offer hope in a climate of fear?
This post is inspired by my experience of Jesus and the courage of Australian nurse Kirsty Boden killed helping others on London Bridge.
As the recent terrorist attacks were taking place she “ran toward danger” to help the injured and dying. In doing this she was attacked?and killed. She did what she could to “overcome evil with good” at great cost to herself.
Her life is an example of grace based leadership.?In the midst of crisis it overcomes evil with good.?It inspires hope in the midst of fear.?It is based on a courageous assessment of reality not naive optimism or political expediency.?It is energised by an experience and understanding of the power of sacrificial love.?#prayforlondon?#kirstyboden
